Voluntary/Non-Salaried Faculty (VONS)  

To initiate an appointment request for a VONS, submissions must be made at least 4 months prior to the intended start date.

Starting the Appointment Process 

Begin by accessing the Voluntary & Non-Salaried (VONS) Faculty Appointment Request Form. This form will guide you through the necessary steps and required information to initiate the appointment process. 

To renew or separate an existing VONS, please utilize the ARC Renewal Portal. 
 

What to Expect After Submission 

  1. ARC will request necessary appointment materials from the candidate.  
  2. ARC reviews the materials and submits them to the Vice Chancellor Health Sciences - Academic Affairs (VCHS-AA) for approval. 
  3. Once approved, an official appointment letter is issued. 
  4. ARC forwards the official appointment letter to the candidate, who must confirm their acceptance. 
  5. Upon acceptance, ARC will initiate the onboarding process.
