Gary Firestein, M.D.
Gary S. Firestein, M.D., is the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for UC San Diego Health Sciences. Dr. Firestein was the founding director of ACTRI and his transformational leadership supported ACTRI through three consecutive successful CTSA awards. Dr. Firestein was named Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for UC San Diego Health Sciences in 2020.
