Academic Personnel Services 

The Office of Academic Personnel Services serves as a central and authoritative source for academic personnel information at UC San Diego, offering details on policies, oversight activities, and guidance on contacting the appropriate team for policy interpretation and implementation. COI: Conflict of Commitment / Outside Professional Activities 

This website is a valuable resource for individuals associated with UC San Diego Health who want to gain a clear understanding of conflict of commitment policies, recognize potential conflicts, and ensure that their external activities align with the obligations and standards set by the University. 

The Division of Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs (GEPA) 

The GEPA website is a centralized and student-centered resource that caters to the specific needs of those involved in graduate education and postdoctoral affairs. Health HR 

The Health HR site is a comprehensive resource for employees, offering information, support, and tools related to personnel administration, talent management, employee relations, and more. International Services and Engagement Office (ISEO)

ISEO will assist the international population with issuing visas (e.g. H1B, J-1) and is the point of contact for permanent residency requests. This office also provides updates to scholars on travel, obtaining visas, and offers general orientations for international students and employees.  

IT Shared Services: UC San Diego Health 

Health IT provides technical support for all employees of UC San Diego Health (hospitals and clinics) and Professional Schools (UC San Diego School of Medicine, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences). The site acts as a centralized hub for addressing requests or inquiries related to issues such as new or lost access. To streamline communication with Health IT, employees can use the website to initiate requests or seek assistance for various technical matters. It serves as a convenient resource for resolving access-related issues and obtaining necessary technical support.

Office of the Ombuds 

The Ombuds Office offers a secure and confidential environment where students, staff, and faculty can discuss concerns and collaboratively address issues stemming from interpersonal or group conflicts. Feel free to reach out to the Ombuds if any workplace issues arise.
