Role in Voluntary Faculty Appointment Process
Departments/ Schools may propose the appointment of individuals who teach in various clinical settings to a Volunteer or Without Salary faculty title. The Health Sciences Clinical Professor series operates under the guidelines outlined by APM - 278, and is distinct from the Volunteer Clinical Professor series, which is governed by APM - 279. Here are a few general points to keep in mind when making these appointments.
