Internal communications plays a vital role in fostering transparency, alignment and engagement across our Health Sciences community. Working with Vice Chancellor John M. Carethers and senior leadership, Health Sciences Communications strives to keep internal audiences informed with timely information through a variety of communications channels, including the Health Sciences website, print publications, all-staff emails, digital calendar listings and the monthly Health Sciences in Action newsletter.

Health Sciences Communications maintains employee email lists. To request an email be sent to all or a segment of Health Sciences employees, send an email to healthscicomm@ucsd.edu with the following information at least three weeks prior to the intended mail date.

The annual UC San Diego State of Health Sciences Address provides an opportunity for employees to hear from the vice chancellor for Health Sciences and other leaders about important updates, achievements and milestones across the organization.
