Brand Architecture for Health Sciences

The Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences oversees the university's clinical enterprise — UC San Diego Health — three professional schools — UC San Diego School of Medicine, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science — and numerous centers and institutes.

Academic Research and Education

UC San Diego Office of the Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences, School of Medicine, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science, and Health Sciences centers and institutes follow the standard campus brand style. The campus sub-brand logos are the appropriate logos for any communications that are not solely representative of the clinical enterprise. Access Health Sciences logos or contact your Health Sciences communications lead for questions.

Patient/Clinical Care

The UC San Diego Health identity is used for the clinical enterprise, including major facilities (such as Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center and Jacobs Medical Center) and clinic locations throughout San Diego and Southern California. It should only be used only when communicating with patients or when representing the clinical enterprise.

Branding for UC San Diego Health is managed by Health Marketing and Communications. For more information or to request a UC San Diego Health logo, email healthbrand@ucsd.edu or visit the UC San Diego Health Marketing and Communications intranet site.
