CRT Business Intelligence (BI) provides data-driven decision support to solve complex business problems.

CRU Client Support

CRT partners with OCR to provide dedicated expertise to design, implement, and optimize CRUs to support UCSD Health Sciences' strategic goal of centralizing and enhancing clinical research support.
  • Establish Core Infrastructure

    • Review, develop, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for CRU operations

  • Optimize Systems and Tools

    • Evaluate and deploy software solutions such as Harvest and Monday.com for time tracking and workload management

    • Configure Velos/CTMS workflows for participant registration and tracking

    • Create a study activation tracking system to monitor and improve timelines

  • Support Financial Sustainability

    • Partner with fund managers and finance teams to establish a recharge model that accurately recovers costs and supports CRU growth

  • Develop Communication and Training Frameworks

    • Produce boilerplate communications and guidance for staff and investigators to ensure consistent understanding of CRU processes

    • Implement a communication strategy for disseminating updates and directives
